SomeOne moves SomeWhere else…
Have you ever tried to get three Creative Directors in a room? Let alone get them to agree it is nice room!
It’s been a little tight in our building over the past 3 months as people started working more and more closely together.
Now… this isn’t to say we don’t work as a close knit team… but when we started working on each others laps we knew it was time to find a larger more appropriate space.
We started 6 years ago with 3 people in a room — and that room was enormous!
Now at least twenty people are working together to create tomorrows brands at SomeOne — so we started the unenviable task of finding a new space that could not only accomodate an ever growing design practice, but satisfy the needs, wants and desires of some of the most particular creative minds on the planet! (Have you ever tried to get three Creative Directors in a room? Let alone get them to agree it is nice room!)
After searching London high and low we were about to lose all hope. Then our local newsagent told us of an amazing space 5 doors down our street that might be available…
After an hour on the market it had already attracted 5 offers… but a little local knowledge and a crafty handshake secured us the property!
We moved in on Friday 19th 2011. It all went very smoothly thanks to excellent Project Management led by Stephanie!
An old printing works on Leonard Street — it’s one of the classic spaces on the street that was almost made a listed building recently. Painted in classic ‘Leonard Street Red’ on the outside, the inside is undergoing a compete make over by us.
The three floor HQ is still very much a work in progress — but we are in, it’s working and we are really enjoying creating a home for SomeOne in this new blank canvas.
