Viajante: Michelin Starred Branding…

Viajante is LondonǃÙs latest culinary venture from celebrated chef Nuno Mendes.

Mendes is a true pioneer in gastronomy, a traveller, or ǃÚviajanteǃÙ, who has explored the globe in search of unique ingredients and innovative techniques. NunoǃÙs menus are ǃ˙the sum of my experiences until todayǃ˘.

We chose to poetically represent The Traveller as ViajanteǃÙs mascot ÇƒÏ a man who has turned into the food he loves.

Illustrated using hand painted and fired tiles in the style of authentic Portuguese blue and white tiles (Azulejos), SomeOne created a set of unusual illustrated ingredients with which to pepper the menus, coasters and wine lists.

The website also feautures a virtual fairy tale of how the Traveller got his features.

ǃ˙Our aim was to created a branded experience to match the food and physical space rather than just repeat a traditional logo ad infinitum.ǃ˘

Viajante has been awarded with its first Michelin Star
